Still Here

The structure has collapsed.
The space no longer serves its purpose.

Yet something remains.

The cat does not claim the ruins,
nor does it flee them.
It occupies the threshold—
alert, contained, unresolved.

This is not survival as spectacle,
but endurance without witness.

Not a symbol.
Not a metaphor.
Simply a presence that refuses to disappear.
