Interior Without Departure

The room shows no sign of departure.
Objects remain arranged for use,
not for memory.

Light enters through a reinforced window,
filtered, obstructed,
but never fully denied.

The ceiling sags,
the walls stain,
yet the interior continues to function
as a container of daily rhythm.

What disappeared was not the space,
but the presence it once held.
